Purgatory is revision

My first exam, on Existentialism went without much of a hitch, but I'm completely bricking it over Logic on Saturday, not to mention Early Modern on Thursday and Society & State Tuesday week. The only thing getting me through it is Desmond Dekker on repeat.

I don't think I'd ever say this but I can't wait to go back to do some office work after all this.

Don't buy canvas shoes

Is it me, or does no one else end up with holes in their shoes like this? My dad is the only other person I've noticed this happen to. Must be a family skill.

May day weekend

Up in London last weekend to see the opening of a friends show, made me painfully aware that I have to sort out some new work for an exhibition this August.

This time of year will always remind me of enforced dancing lessons around the ancient school maypole. Thanks to my lack of direction I never was shortlisted to dance at the school fete, which is absolutely fine with me, I don't think I could handle yet another humiliating photo.

Good quote

"To think is to confine yourself to a single thought that one day stands still like a star in the world's sky".
- M. Heidegger, 1971

I finally began revising this week for the exams I have in June, thought it was rather apt that at the same time I managed to also stumble across this quote.
